    We are currently assisting a customer supplying the aerospace industry with a Controller search by Los Angeles, CA .

    The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, directing and managing the financial and accounting activities including month end close, maintenance of general ledger and financial audits for a manufacturing business.

    This person will be expected to provide leadership to others within the plant and aid in the development of the plant personnel from a financial and internal control perspective.


    Responsibilities:
    Prepare accurate monthly forecastingCoordinate, perform, and/or supervise plant audit activities of internal, government and/or third partiesDevelop and implement plant accounting control proceduresEnsure information systems and processes are in place and maintained to provide data support for operations and financial activityProvide technical direction for accounts payables and receivablesCoordinate and perform physical inventories of assets and plant materialsRequirements:Bachelors degree required, post-graduate degree or professional certification a plusProven success in Controller role5+ years' experience in fast-paced manufacturing environment

    Total Compensation:
    $180,000 - $220,000
