- Establish and assign all daily, weekly, and monthly routine maintenance schedules and coordinate necessary
- Maintain inventory of parts and supplies with a focus on cost control to an established budget.
- Schedule work, coordinate production activities, provide direct oversight of employees, approve time records,and communicate and implement company policy.
- Engage in employee development activities, make recommendations on employee hire, promotion, anddisciplinary action.
- Ensure predictive and preventive maintenance programs are accomplished and repairs are completed on a timelybasis so that production and profitability objectives are met.
- Establish and maintain maintenance budget to recommend capital improvements including assisting theProduction Manager in design and installation of new equipment.
- Ensure maintenance crew understands and is able to troubleshoot all corrugator jobs and is fully trained onmechanical and electrical repairs, equipment use, adjustments, and unique situations.
- Conduct training for production employees in the performance of routine operator level maintenance tasks.
- Coordinate preventative maintenance programs.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and injury free work environment by ensuring health and safety procedures areunderstood and executed by all employees.
- Participate in production meeting and provide updates as needed.
- Know and follow policies and procedures of the company, share information that would benefit other membersof the team, and find ways to improve the delivery of service to our customers.
- Strive to continually strengthen PCAs business philosophy of meeting needs and exceeding expectation forcustomers specifically supporting PCAs Commitment to Service which involves doing whats right for ourcustomers, focusing on strategies that add value and support growth, and keeping the promises that we make.
- Education equivalent to associates degree or completed certification in production maintenance required.
- Bachelors degree in engineering preferred.
- Five (5) years of previous experience in equipment and electrical maintenance in corrugated manufacturing.
- Working knowledge of maintenance of corrugated and packaging equipment.
- Solid working knowledge of electrical and mechanical maintenance.
- Previous supervisory experience in coaching, training, teambuilding, performance development, and conflictresolution strongly preferred.
- Experience with manufacturing safety practices.
- Solid analytical, mechanical, and mathematical skills.
- Working knowledge of manufacturing systems including shop floor software.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle numerous details, deadlines, and requests.
- Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline oriented environment, prioritize assignments, and handle multipleprojects and/or requests concurrently.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with individualsthroughout the company on departmental procedures, policies, practices, and requests for information.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively lead and communicate with production team and management.
- Previous work experience as a member of a team, or a strong understanding of the importance of opencommunication and information sharing between team members.
- Able to work flexible hours as needed.

Position Summary:
The Maintenance Supervisor plans, estimates, and schedules preventative and corrective maintenance of plant equipment, machinery, and service systems to increase uptime and minimize unscheduled downtime.
Dimensions:
Specific dimensions for this position vary based on plant size.
For example, an Extra Large plant typically has an employee population exceeding 125 employees and an operating profit in excess of $3 million, while a Small planttypically has an employee population of less than 50 employees and an operating profit less than $1 million.
Principle Accountabilities:
Decision Making:
The Maintenance Supervisor is required to exercise discretion and creativity in determining the best way ensure the maintenance crew is well-trained in working with equipment and the corrugator is maintained to operate atmaximum capacity.
The Maintenance Supervisor is expected to exercise solid judgment in managing personnel andmanaging the departments resources for the maximum return.
Interactions:
Internally, the Maintenance Supervisor interacts with maintenance and production staff and management to increaseuptime and minimize unscheduled downtime.
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for planning, scheduling,and directing the work of the maintenance crew within the established manufacturing, safety, and health policies ofthe organization.
Additionally, the Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for oversight and communication ofmaintenance activities to the production staff. Externally, the Maintenance Supervisor may interact with contractors,suppliers, or customers.Position Requirements:
