    JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for daily coordination, advisement, technical support and conformance and quality of Creative project designs and determinations by validating drawings, project submittals, and other related documents for accuracy and conformance with local regulation, permits, and/or global EHS policies and standards. Partner with EHS Global Environmental Affairs and Health & Safety teams along with Communications and Assurance teams to gain understanding and support conformance with these elements. Responsibilities include validation (including quality control) of documents and records, evaluation of effectualness of prescribed controls, communicating findings and contributing factors and effectively using a range of EHS tools and practices to aid the business to mitigate risk, reduce potential for incident and drive conformance in all areas of EHS. Provide technical guidance and act as a liaison between EHS and Site operating divisions , Universal Creative, .

    MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Conduct reviews of all project design documents to provide guidance on guest and Team Member safety, fire prevention, environmental, occupational health for new and re-commissioning projects for conformance with regulation and established EHS standard.

    • Maintain electronic recordkeeping system for all EHS design review comments and recommendations.
    • Act as the EHS project liaison with Site Divisions, Universal Creative, and other key stakeholders to evaluate and maintain EHS conformance on new Creative project designs.
    • Participate in the onsite verification for project to meet corporate or regulatory compliance.
    • Facilitate and maintain effective communication mechanisms between contractor/vendors, design engineers/architects, project management teams, and EHS business lines throughout the project
      phase regarding EHS hazard identification, project submittals, plans, change management to facilitate compliance with regulations and EHS standards and assurance guidelines.
    • Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.
    EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree in Safety Engineering/Management, Public Health, Environment and/or Biological or Educational Sciences or associated degree or associated degree is preferred.

    EXPERIENCE:
    • 2+ in industrial and/or construction role; hazard recognition and mitigation, technical report preparation and executive communications, drawing and specification review, issuance and retention of documents.
    • Planning, scheduling, and organization are critical skill sets for success or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
    • Required: Possess or have the education and experience to meet testing criteria for: CSP, CIH, CHMM, PE or other equivalent internationally recognized certification within the EHS discipline.
