Staffing Solutions of Hawaii is seeking an Food Production Assistant Manager to join a growing and dynamic team
Job Description:
Responsible for overseeing all activities relating to production
Process-oriented individual who will assist the production manager, becoming an expert on all products, manufacturing processes, and machinery
Coordinate weekly schedule with the production and sales manager
Effectively lead and develop team members
Assist with the hiring and training of new employees
Oversee the inventory of raw materials, finished goods and supplies
Understand and maintain compliance with food safety standards (Seafood HACCP, GMP, Sanitation)
Manage daily production and ensuring quality, consistency and safety
Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions
Position Requirements:
Must be able to complete Seafood HACCP Training and/or obtain certification
Filipino speaking
Proficient in Outlook/Gmail, Word/Google Docs, Excel/Google Sheets
Able to reach overhead and bend down as well as carry, lift and move items weighing up to 50lbs
Able to work in cold (40-55F) environments
Required to wear proper clothing and food protection
