Responsibilities & Workload

Responsible for overall Information Technology Management.

Maintains system performance by performing system monitoring and analysis; troubleshooting system hardware, software, networks and operating and system management systems.

Works with venders to address system and application problems for ERP, Payroll, HR, VOIP, Email and WAN\VPN.

Plans the selection, installation, configuration, and testing of PC and server hardware, software, LAN and WAN networks, and operating and system management systems, defining system and operational policies and procedures.

Install, configure, and maintain Windows servers and workstations, install software upgrades, and manage hardware upgrades.

Configure and maintain IBM iSeries servers, install software upgrades, and manage hardware upgrades.

Secures system by developing system access, monitoring, control, and evaluation; establishing and testing disaster recovery policies and procedures; completing back-ups; maintaining documentation.

Proficient with TCP, UDP, IP, VOIP

Experience with firewall configuration, IPsec and SSL VPNs, VLANs, IP, and routing protocols.


Desired Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or comparable experience.

Experience resolving user issues with Microsoft Office suite of products.

Certifications (Microsoft, A+, or NETWORK+)

Must be highly organized, self-motivated and able to establish priorities and complete tasks on deadline.

Demonstrated outstanding interpersonal skills, an ability to plan and forecast tasks to meet multiple deadlines.

Experience in network maintenance and analysis

Experience in server maintenance, troubleshooting, and installation

Strong oral & written communication abilities
