The purpose of this position is to receive analyze and assess criminal information of a confidential and non-confidential nature disseminate analytical products or information in keeping with agency policies procedures.Provide accurate real-time tactical support utilizing technology information systems.
The Tactical Crime Intel Analyst position is housed within LMPD's Real Time Crime Center RTCC. The RTCC is a 24/7 unit consisting of 3 shifts. The position we are currently hiring for is on 2nd shift (4:00 p.m. to midnight). All shifts have rotating days off working weekends holidays..
Responsibilities
- IDentifies receives evaluates correlates analyzes transmits information criminal intelligence ICI frequently involves emergency critical situations affecting public officer safety in real time investigative purposes.
