- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited college or university
- Current Kentucky Veterinary Medical License or ability to obtain one
- Strong knowledge of animal behavior, medical science, pharmacology, and surgical procedures
- Ability to handle animals with compassion and care, and communicate effectively with clients and team members
- Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills, and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Willingness to work weekends and evenings as needed
- Good physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Experience in a clinical environment is preferred

Bluegrass Veterinary Services is currently a single doctor clinic in Beaver Dam, KY, providing care to Ohio Co, KY, and surrounding areas. Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Associate Veterinarian at Bluegrass Veterinary Services located in Beaver Dam, KY. The successful candidate will be responsible for examining, diagnosing, and treating animals using appropriate medical techniques and knowledge while maintaining detailed medical records for each patient. They will also be responsible for providing advice and guidance to clients and support staff, and ensuring that medical equipment and facilities are in proper working order. BVS is predominantly a small animal practice, but we are open to mixed animal practitioner applicants.
