    Director of Government Affairs


    AHCA/NCAL seeks an experienced Director of Government Affairs to drive strategic partnerships and influence policy development at the federal level. As a key member of our team, you will lead efforts to advance our mission through effective government relations.



    • Cultivate relationships with members of Congress, senior staff, executive branch officials, state legislators, and other stakeholders to foster access to policymaking processes.

    • Communicate regularly with internal and external audiences on departmental activities and Capitol Hill developments.

    • Promote fundraising initiatives that meet PAC goals while contributing to overall advocacy programs involving PAIC Board members, State Executives Association membership leaders,
      government relations representatives from various groups and other members of the GR team.
    • Maintain strong connections with donors across levels by coordinating giving plans aligned with association objectives

        • DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

      Serve as a contact point for lobbyists style ='color: blue'> and provide information about AHCA's position on policies affecting long-term care facilities.< br >Serve actively in the DC political community raising awareness regarding opportunities that can further AHCA's mission . Serve as liaison between health organizations who are interested i n issues pertinent t olong term car e related matters .Maintain informa ti,< p >< s trong>Showcase your exceptional written communication skills , ability t o adapt complex ideas into clear concise proposals , deliver engaging presentations utilizing industry-specific terminology creating useful insights fro all participants whe ever they may be
