Description

The Dining Room Lead Server plays a crucial role in maintaining a high-quality dining atmosphere by setting and ensuring service standards are met. Acting as a liaison and overseeing dining rooms' daily inspections, this position ensures a pleasant dining experience and adherence to service standards.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Complete full-service server tasks during meal times and assist residents promptly
Clear, clean, and set tables following proper procedures
Conduct dishwashing and cleaning tasks
Ensure compliance with safety and infection control regulations
Assign tasks to dining room staff
Orient, train, and participate in staff meetings
Maintain a clean pantry and proper food stock
Document food and equipment temperatures
Adhere to hygiene standards and department dress code
Attend training sessions and suggest improvements
Weekend availability required

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS:

Communication skills, customer service experience
Foodservice leadership experience preferred
Food Handlers card and Serv-Safe training
Ability to work effectively with residents and colleagues
Adherence to dining room standards
Understanding and application of DRV policies
Leadership and team management
Experience in Long Term Care
Team player
