Client Information Technology Group is looking for a Software Engineer Analyst for their front office suite of application supporting trading, marketing, trade analysis and research.

Role ObjectivesHands-on development using Java 17 as the primary language,Work with other teams including Front office risk teams, trading desk, Quants, and DevOps to build state of the art front to back pricing and risk solutions.

Focus on non-functional requirements from the start increasing maintainability and reliabilityContinuous improvement of the development and release environment, tooling, and processesWork closely with the operation team and users and provide level 3 support as requiredQualifications and Skills

Strong fundamental Computer Science knowledge including Algorithms and data structuresStrong problem solving skillProactive self-starter who is able to take initiative and roll up sleeves to get things done.

Can influence cross discipline teams to achieve complex deliveriesBasic core Java development skillsQuick learnerStrong communication skillScrum/agile methodology (Product owner and/or Scrum master), or ability to deliver software on short cycles2-3 years of software development experience.
