    Key Duties & Responsibilities

    The key duties and responsibilities of the Senior PM include, but are not limited to:

    Elicit, accurately characterize, and document project goals, scope, stakeholders, risks, issues, success measures, effort, and resource estimates
    Ensure that all required sub-projects and activities are identified, planned, and managed
    Create, maintain, and deliver communication plans, status updates, charters, schedules, and budgets
    Proactively manage projects to deliver them in-scope, on-time and on-budget while enforcing checkpoints and managing change-control
    Maintain an objective, fact-based perspective and encourage teams to display transparency on status and to proactively recommend opportunities to improve

    Collaborate with care center administrators, central office, clinical and operational staff as well as various departments to successfully manage, implement, and sustain system initiatives.

    Work collaboratively with departments and business units to analyze current business processes and identify opportunities to increase clinical outcomes, quality of service, financial performance, and operational efficiencies
    Identify resources needed and assign individual responsibilities
    Manages the day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope as well as the big picture
    Effectively communicate relevant project information to project sponsors, executives, and key stakeholders
    Effectively apply agreed upon methodologies and enforce project standards
    Resolve and/or escalate issues in a timely fashion
    Minimize exposure and risk on each project
    Proactively alert all stakeholders of potential missed deadlines and plans for keeping project on track
    Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately, including project notes

    Plan and coordinate multiple concurrent complex projects, including leading project teams and sponsor groups, facilitating decision-making, options documents, business/ROI analyses, and serving as primary manager and delegator of work.

    Create and maintain required documentation, which may include project plans, communication plans, go-live plans and budget tracking spreadsheets utilizing appropriate and agreed-upon software applications for each task.

    Coordinate testing, training, and implementation tasks as necessary for assigned projects.
    Ensure projects are delivered within scope, on time and within budget.

    Experience, Skills and Abilities

    Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience in a healthcare related field.
    Minimum of 5 years of successful project management experience.
    Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI)
    MS Project experience or related software.
    Proven prior experience performing project manager responsibilities and functions
    Prior knowledge and deep understanding of healthcare processes and procedures
    Experience working in a diverse team environment with both internal and external groups
    Solid technical understanding and ability to define and refine requirements through a project life cycle
    Proficiency in computer applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, and PowerPoint
    Proven ability to communicate across multi-disciplinary teams with diverse skill sets
    High emotional intelligence
    Ability to create win-win solutions
    Self-confident with humility and high self-awareness
