- Serves as a Division Chief in Accounts Maintenance and Control responsible for providing professional accounting and finance services, management advice, and assistance to supported customers.
- Interprets DoD and DFAS regulatory and administrative guidelines and makes recommendations and decisions regarding accounting operations and systems environments.
- Establishes, applies, monitors, and evaluates progress of performance measurement indicators for assessing operational effectiveness.
- Maintains a system of procedural controls to ensure the integrity of internal records of financial accounting transactions.
- Communicates with senior commanders and management officials to resolve issues and concerns relating to accounting services provided and to evaluate customer services.
