    Our Business Manager position takes ownership of and is responsible for the safety, growth, quality, performance, financial metrics, and risk management of the respective office and employees. The Business Manager promotes the Company's culture surrounding our Core Values. Leads strategic planning and in developing business objectives and operational plans, and actively drives business development/marketing plans to accomplish office and Company objectives. Assures that employees are hired, trained, and developed thoroughly and with results.

    Requires knowledge of financial management and key metrics such as budgeting, forecasting, billing, labor costs, employee utilization, efficiency, multipliers, etc. Experience with safety, quality management and business development will be important. Will serve as an active and visible member in our industry and in the local community.

    Requires excellent verbal and written communication including the ability to write reports and correspondence legibly, accurately, and professionally and be able to communicate effectively with current and prospective clients, contractors, co-workers, and direct reports. Ensures communications reduce errors, establishes a team approach to problem solving, and exhibits personal accountability.

    The ideal Business Manager will have 10+ years of engineering-related or CMT-related leadership experience. A bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience is required. A Master's degree and Professional Engineering (PE) license is preferred but not required.

    The base salary for this position begins at $100,000 and will be increased based upon a candidate's experience.
