    Description


    Nemours is seeking an AVP, Primary Care Practice (Full-Time), to join our Nemours team in Orlando, Florida.

    Nemours primary care practices provide a kid-friendly, family-centered pediatric primary care experience for families in Central Florida. With 18 primary care and 3 urgent care practices conveniently located throughout the region, we provide quality, professional pediatric services with special attention on preventive care and whole-child wellness.

    In collaboration with the Operations Vice President, Florida Practice Administrator and the Division Medical Director, the AVP, Primary Care is responsible for the development, management, direction and growth of the Primary Care network throughout Central Florida. This position is responsible for the efficient and effective administration and daily operations, for setting and attaining goals and objectives, and for the financial sustainability of the Primary Care division.

    The position is responsible for using appropriate leadership style and interpersonal skills to build and maintain a cohesive leadership team and facilitated completion of team goals.

    Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    The creation and management of a Primary Care network throughout central Florida.

    Formulation and execution of the Primary Care growth strategy, in collaboration with other Nemours leaders.

    Identifying, negotiating and executing Primary Care acquisitions.

    Financial sustainability of the central Florida Primary Care network.

    Oversee and direct budget, planning and implementation of building and renovation projects.

    Management and oversight of Practice revenue cycle operations.

    In partnership with the Medical Director, recruit and on-board new providers, write, revise and negotiate employment agreements.

    Develop, negotiate and execute vendor contracts.

    Develop, implement and monitor the operational and capital budgets annually.

    Report regularly on progress, barriers, milestones and issues to the PMSI Board, CHA Council of Managers, Nemours Leadership team and other stakeholders as necessary. Serves as a member on the Council of Managers.

    Other duties as assigned.

    Job Requirements

    Master's Degree required. Advanced (5 to 6 years of formal training/education beyond high school; e.g., Master's Degree).

    Minimum of five (5) years' experience required.

    Travel to other locations is required.
