This role presents an enriching opportunity to work with students from Kindergarten to 12th grade, providing tailored therapy services. While some travel between locations may be required, compensation is provided. As a School Occupational Therapist, you'll collaborate with educators, parents, and staff to support student success and promote independence in the academic environment.

Duties Include:

• Assess patients' functional abilities and limitations to determine appropriate therapy goals.
  
• Document patient progress, interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely in medical records.
  
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve patients' ability to perform daily activities.
  
• Educate patients and their families about techniques and strategies to promote independence and prevent injury.
  
• Provide hands-on therapy, exercises, and activities to help patients regain or develop skills for independent living.
  
• Stay updated on the latest research, techniques, and trends in occupational therapy through continuing education and professional development.
  
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as doctors, nurses, teachers, administrators and physical therapists, to coordinate patient care and optimize outcomes.
  

Requirements

• Possess a Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
  
• Hold a valid Occupational Therapy license in the state of Georgia.
  
• Demonstrate previous experience in occupational therapy, ideally with children of diverse abilities.
