    General Responsibilities:

    New Business marketing including, but not limited to rating and quoting employee benefit linesSpend approximately 25-50% of the time outside of the office with clients.

    Renewal marketing including, but not limited to rating and quoting assigned employee benefit accountsNew Business & Renewal Underwriting including, but not limited to gathering missing enrollment information and all underwriting status follow upWork directly with group administrators to assist and educate on the proper administration procedures, State & Federal COBRA, additions & termination and all other administrative proceduresAssist employees with unresolved claim issues while educating them on the claims processing systemMaintain suspense or follow-up system for correspondence/requestsProvide back-up to other Account Analysts as assignedMaintain expiration recordsDevelop and maintain working relationship with the various company marketing representatives and underwritersMaintain up to date knowledge of the various carriers' rating plans and programsMaintain favorable relationship with clients, producers, and employeesDevelop and maintain strong technical knowledge of employee benefit lines of coverage and rating

    Required Qualifications:
    Highschool equivalent, college degree preferredLife & Health License years industry experienced preferredProficient with MS Office SuiteStrong technical knowledge of coverage in all employee benefits insurance coverage
