This job involves overseeing a department to ensure that ambulatory patient care services are provided effectively. Key responsibilities include supervising daily operations, ensuring high-quality patient care that complies with regulations, maintaining clinical practice standards and budgets, and assisting in staff development. • Supervising daily operations and service delivery.
• Ensuring staff compliance with regulations and providing high-quality care.
• Implementing and maintaining patient care standards to meet expectations.
• Being a patient advocate and resolving care issues.
• Improving systems and patient care results.
• Monitoring financial performance and optimizing costs.
• Developing and maintaining staff competency.
• Implementing policies that align with organizational objectives.
• Collaborating with key stakeholders for service delivery.
• Resolving human resource and safety issues.

Requirements:

Experience:

· Minimum two (2) years of relevant clinical experience or healthcare leadership experience.

Education:

· Graduate of an accredited nursing school.

License/Certification:

· Registered Nurse License (California) and Basic Life Support required.

Additional Skills:

· Knowledge of relevant regulations.

· Ability to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Clinical specialization preferred.

· Previous experience in ambulatory supervision preferred.

Notes:

• Traveling to oversee clinical operations for multiple departments at various locations.
• Staff and Physician rounding at different medical offices.

Located in California, San Diego.
