    Role Overview:
    Sodexo is seeking an experienced

    Executive Chef 3

    for the

    University of Missouri Kansas City (UMKC) , located in

    Kansas City, MO .

    Our Executive Chef should be the leader in the kitchen, well versed in purchasing, inventory, and following operational standards.

    This Executive Chef will primarily oversee Resident Dining and Catering, but will help in other areas when needed. Experience with high end catering and a flexible schedule are also needed.

    Sodexo provides college campuses with food, nutrition, environmental, and facilities management solutions.

    • What You'll Do: be responsible for purchasing, menu compliance, inventory, food cost analysis and food production forecasting
    ensure Sodexo Culinary standards including recipe compliance and food quality are implemented
    have the ability and willingness to develop and motivate team members to embrace culinary innovations
    ensure food safety, sanitation and workplace safety standard compliance
    have working knowledge of automated food inventory, ordering, production and management systems
