    Job Title: Histologist

    As a histologist, you will be responsible for preparing tissues and body fluids for diagnostic evaluation. This involves performing various laboratory procedures such as routine embedding, microtomy, staining, and maintenance of laboratory equipment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Accessioning and labeling of requisitions and specimen containers
    • Preparing packing lists for transportation to the histology laboratory
    • Performing gross examination of small biopsy specimens

    Requirements:

    • Florida state license
    • One year of relevant experience preferred
    • ASCP certification
