    Requirements:
    • Graduate of an accredited radiation sciences or radiology technology program (required)
    • ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) Certification (required)
    • Previous experience working as a radiology technologist (preferred). We will accept newly registered graduates.
    • BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification (required). Must be completed before the end of the orientation period.
    About the Job:
    • Obtain Radiographic Images of diagnostic quality, while adhering to departmental standards and protocols
    • Maintains a high-quality standard of Imaging excellence in all areas of the radiology department
    • Collaborates with other professionals in and out of the Hospital to ensure effective, efficient patient care delivery and achievement of desired outcomes
    • Prepares examination room, equipment, and instruments per patient needs
    • Operates x-ray machine according to established procedures to ensure patient safety and comfort
    • Follows relevant safety and sanitation guidelines
    • Documents patient care records in accordance with outlined policies and procedures
    • Demonstrates technical expertise, knowledge of anatomy, safety consciousness, manual dexterity, clerical accuracy, and verbal ability.
    • May be required to cover inpatient or outpatient areas to include off-site diagnostic locations.
