Qualifications / Job Requirements
Minimum 3 years of recent Emergency Room (ER) RN experience —
ER nurse experience across the lifespan preferred
Active RN license
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required (TNCC preferred)
Experience with patient triage, high-acuity care, and trauma management preferred
Ability to work as a collaborative team player in a fast-paced emergency department
Must complete assigned onboarding education modules prior to first day
Responsibilities
Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to medical, injured, and behavioral health patients across the lifespan
Assess, triage, and manage patients with varying acuity levels (typical ratio 1:4)
Utilize Epic EMR and unit equipment including Level I fluid warmer
Perform trauma care skills and interventions appropriate to emergency settings (preferred)
Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Maintain professionalism and adhere to facility policies, documentation standards, and dress code
