Job Summary

The Lead Custodian inspects guides instructs and performs service work of routine difficulty in custodial and light maintenance services; organizes and schedules daily functions of Custodians.

Assist Custodian Manager with day-to-day scheduling and inspection of custodial crew cleaning services Organize assign and participate in custodial and light maintenance work Ensure cleanliness of restroom basin stools urinals and other sanitary facilities daily Inspect for stocks dispensers with paper towel tissue other paper products Ensure maintenance outside areas by sweeping hosing off walkways picking litter Vacuum clean carpet on a daily basis or as needed Sweep mop strip off old wax new wax polish floor electric buffer Empty ashtrays trash receptacles dust office desks chairs reception area on a daily basis or as needed Clean walls windows doors shelves Assist moving furniture equipment Orders supplies authorized Makes sure buildings secure leaving Perform duties similar nature level requested supervisor director
