    Operations are now seeking a talented

    Shift Manager

    to join the

    Operations

    team.

    Some of the essentials for you to know are:


    Location:

    Onsite at our Mahwah, NJ Distribution Center and Office


    • Plan, direct and be accountable for all day to day aspect of your shift
    • Responsible for a Team of 80 plus staff (including 4-8 Front Line Manager, direct reports)
    • Be willing & able to demand the best from staff
    • Partner & create solid relationships with all other Shift Managers & Operational Teams
    • Manage, motivate & organize team to ensure SLAs are met within our high quality & accuracy standards
    • Identify areas for improvement & work with the Continuous Improvements Team to support & implement change and improvements
    • Respect & maintain the companys rules for security & health &safety
    • Ensure that staff are sufficiently trained & supported in their roles
    • Manage all facets of personnel within team, interviewing, hiring, coaching, training, performance evaluations, corrective actions and terminations
    • Working with the resource planning team monitor & execute the daily plan for resource utilization, finding effective uses (training, tidying etc.) for time during slower periods
    • Request, review and interpret data, reports, schedules & projections to identify areas for improvement on an ongoing basis
    • Resolve issues where possible in a timely manor, highlighting concerns to management as appropriate
    • Work closely with other Shift Managers to ensure consistency across Operations
    • Actively contribute to companys goals and values
    • Identifies high potential staff; creates & executes development plans
    • Develop your Team to ensure appropriate succession plan
    • At least 6 years experience in a management role in a similar warehouse environment
    • Minimum 3 years experience leading a large & diverse team
    • Strong Leadership
    • Drive and enthusiasm to motivate team to success
    • Desire to create a clean & efficient working environment
    • Analytical stills
    ability to use metrics to guide the operation

    • Good IT skills
    • Excellent communication skills and ability to build good working relations across the department
    • Ability to work under pressure
    • Pro-active approach
