    Job DescriptionDescription:

    Skills and Knowledge required:

    Deconstruction - Removal of drywall, framing, flooring, appliances, tile, etc.

    Finish Carpentry - baseboards, casing, crown, setting doors, installing door and cabinet hardware, installing cabinets, installing bathroom accessories and other finish carpentry tasks.

    Framing - Able to read and understand plans and layout framing based on plans provided. Floor joists, walls, trusses, roof framing, soffits, framing hardware and other rough framing tasks.

    On-site supervisor as necessary working with Project Manager.

    Know and understand plans, specifications and change orders.

    Ensure proper site preparation is performed including dust protection, heat vent covers, carpet

    or other flooring protection, etc. prior to beginning work.

    Verify that site is cleaned daily and make sure all debris is hauled away or placed in appropriate containers.

    Depending on the availability of specific company personnel, your responsibilities may also include

    the following: cleanup; loading trash in trailer or dumpster; hauling trailer to the dump, etc. Typically done by laborer

    Use our Management software for time keeping, daily logs, and other communication.

    Requirements:

    Able to lift 50lbs unassisted, perform, lead and train others in deconstruction, framing, finish carpentry, setting windows and doors and other miscellaneous carpentry work. Communicate with Project manager about daily tasks and progress. Track time in companies' management software. Track daily log in companies' management software. Travel to and from jobsite.

    Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or GED.
    • Valid driver's license.
    • 10 years experience in residential remodeling or construction.
    • Sound knowledge of safety standards and procedures.
    • The ability to safely operate power tools.
    • The ability to read blueprints (Construction plans)
    • Excellent time management skills.
    • Effective communication skills.
    • Strong leadership skills.
