TMC USA SE is seeking talented Controls Engineer based in Greer/Anderson, SC and who will be supporting all our client sites in USA, which calls for (25-50% of travel). Must have 5-10 years of experience and should be autonomous.

What you will be doing:

• The Controls Engineer will spend the majority of time in-house at our facility writing and updating existing PLC and Robotics code supporting our clients in-house Testing & Controls team and performing factory acceptance testing on new systems.
• The Controls Engineer will spend the remaining 25-50% of their time traveling to clients customer sites depending on the complexity of the project, aiding in complex installations that require programming and commissioning of new equipment
• Use S7 (Siemens), PLC AB and Robots Fanuc as well as Kuka tools to provide remote support to PLC and HMI systems in the field for required changes / maintenance / troubleshooting, etc.
• Generate e-drawing modifications of PLC & HMI systems for customer quotations or to support field service personnel.
• Design and run experiments on PLC, HMI and touch screen systems on die cast manufacturing equipment.
• Test, troubleshoot and debug and new HMI updates prior to customer installation.
• Manage PLC and touch panel backups on the server.
• Travel to clients Tier 1 sites for repairs and equipment installation occasionally.

What you bring along:

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics or related field
• 5-10 years experience as a Controls Engineer (Manufacturing)
