    Overview:

    VTG Defense is seeking a Agile Coach in Chantilly, VA.

    Responsibilities:

    Agile Coach who will guide and coach the Scrum team in utilizing Agile methodology and scrum practices to deliver high quality products and services to customers. As an Agile Scrum Master, you will also maintain close working relationships with product owners, scrum teams, and other stakeholders, such as product end users. The Scrum Master will identify any organizational roadblocks that limit team productivity and quality and provide feedback to improve, innovate, and successfully deliver products.

    Qualifications:

    Required Qualifications:

    • Facilitating and organizing all aspects of SAFe Agile Program Increment Planning Events as well as Pre Planning activities and Spring Planning
    • Organizing and maintaining Kanban boards on JIRA and organize and maintain data on Confluence
    • Attending SE&I meetings with Developers to ensure their needs are understood and captured correctly
    • Active TS/SCI with polygraph
    • Facilitating storie prioritization through backlog refinement
    • Contribute to Agile events such as increment planning, retrospectives, etc.
    • 3-5 years or more of demonstrated experience in one or more of the following scrum activities:
    • Scheduling and facilitating scrum events, meetings, decision-making process, and help resolve conflicts and issues
    • Monitoring progress and performance and assist teams to make improvements
    • Helping product owners and development teams achieve customer satisfaction
    • Leading working sessions with product owners to review and determine requirements, scope, and schedule constraints
    • Guiding and coaching Scrum Teams in using Agile Methodology and Scrum practices
    • Implementing Scaled Agile Frameworks into multiple high value IT delivery projects

    Desired Qualifications:

    • Experience with leading an Agile/Scrum team
    • Ability to apply advanced principles, theories, and concepts, and contribute to the development of innovative ideas
    • Knowledge of the Sponsors Project Management Framework (PMF)
    • Certifications: Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), ICAgile Certified Professional (ICP), or SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager
