    The Analyst/Associate position is with Morgan Stanley Bank, NA and Morgan Stanley Private Bank, National Association (US Banks) on the US Banks Vendor Program Management Team.


    Description:

    The Vendor Program Management Assistant Vice President position is responsible for supporting the US Banks Internal Vendor Program Management Office and reports into a US Banks Vendor Program Management Officer.

    The program's framework consists of the following areas of responsibility:


    • Ensure key regulatory requirements, particularly Regulation W, are adhered to for the Bank's Affiliate Service Level Agreements
    • Ensure key regulatory guidance, particularly the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) Bulletin on Third Party Relationships, are adhered to for the Bank's Third-Party Vendor Relationships and Agreements
    • Lead weekly, monthly, and quarterly committees and sub-committees related to the internal Affiliate Vendor Management Programs
    • Actively lead and partner across organizations in the development, implementation, and sustainability of an Affiliate Workflow tool that will help automate and enhance current manual processes
    • Provide oversight of internal Affiliate Vendor lifecycle management, including agreement creation, cost and service levels, periodic risk monitoring, and contract termination
    • Partner with, and leverage, Firm-wide monitoring groups and tools to oversee Vendor Management activities conducted by employees of US Banks' affiliates or through the services of external third parties
    • Provide oversight and training to ensure adherence to the Bank's Vendor Management Policies and Procedures
    Prepare and present results of monitoring assessments, identified and remediation operational risks, and escalation of issues to senior bank management QualificationsRequired Skills/Experiences:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
    • Experience in Vendor Management, Operational Risk Management, and Regulation W.
    • Experience in a Bank with knowledge of US Banking regulations
    • 5+ years of experience with proven ability in leading dynamic teams
    • Ability to chair meetings with senior management and communicate across a matrixed organization
    • Strong organizational, project management and reporting skills.
    • Ability to work both independently and with team members, under tight deadlines. Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $85,000 and $130,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
