    SQUAD LEADER Automated Requirements and Configuration Tool (aka "Benefits Builder" Squad)

    The Role

    Are you ready to take charge as a Health & Welfare Benefits Builder Squad Leader? In this role, you will combine benefits administration expertise, leadership skills, and product development experience to create customer value and achieve results effectively.
    As the product owner, you will be responsible for overseeing the squad's mission, strategy, and tactical execution to scale H&W Client Projects capture and configuration of employee benefits requirements in Fidelity systems using the transformational Benefits Builder application. Your main focus will be on digital Requirements Management capabilities and automatic configuration of benefit features in the recordkeeping system.
    Working in an agile setup, you will collaborate with Fidelity leaders to influence strategic decisions, refine the mission, and lead a team to execute on product features. Your dedication to continuous learning and expertise development is crucial in this role.
    • Provide leadership for a squad focused on delivering requirements management and automated configuration capabilities in the Benefits Builder application
    • Define and communicate the squad's mission and roadmap effectively
    • Measure performance against objectives and metrics to drive business results
    • Collaborate with Chapter Leaders and Scrum Masters to enhance squad capacity and capability
    • Make data-focused decisions to prioritize customer needs and improve value delivery
    • Establish and maintain strong relationships across the organization to achieve business outcomes

    The Expertise and Skills You Bring

    • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred
    • Scrum Product Owner Certification (CSPO) and/or Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) or similar designations are a plus
    • 7+ years in product management, technology, and/or business
    • At least 5 years experience in Health & Welfare benefits administration services business
    • Experience in back-end core recordkeeping development and delivery
    • Hands-on agile leadership experience
    • Strong focus on execution and team motivation
    • Continuous improvement mindset and commitment to agile practices
    • Ability to build and lead high-performing teams
    • Effective communication and relationship-building skills
    • Intellectual curiosity and dedication to continuous learning

    The Team

    Collaborate with the H&W Client Implementation & Project Automation Product Area Leader, Benefits Builder Squad Leaders, and other key team members to drive efficiencies in client requirements and configuration automation. By promoting Fidelity's agile culture, you will contribute to achieving strategic cost reduction objectives.
