    Position Summary:

    The Internal Audit and Compliance Intern will support the Internal Audit Sr. Analyst and Director in compliance related issues and assist in the Companys risk assessment and planning, executing, and communicating the results of assigned internal audit and Sarbanes Oxley engagements. The detailed responsibilities are listed below.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Support the internal audit team in communicating and executing compliance plans/initiatives to ensure operations comply with relevant policies at all locations
    • Assist in the preparation of compliance and other reports and sending them to appropriate personnel
    • Handling compliance related inquiries from personnel related to access
    • Support Internal Audit team in facilitating various aspects of the Sarbanes Oxley certification program, including process documentation, testing, and other evaluations as necessary
    • Maintain organized audit evidence to support conclusions; adhere to department standards
    • Develop good relationships with key stakeholders
    • Understand and stay updated on new compliance and SOX related developments and their possible impact on the Company
    • Use technology to continually improve teamwork flow and testing approaches

    Computer skills with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) experience/course experience with Visio, SharePoint, and wDesk a plus

    Requirements:

    Education Level: Undergrad student with at least 2 upper-level business courses

    Education Program/Area of Study: Accounting/ Business / Finance
