    Description:
    We are currently seeking Certified Surgical Technologists (CST) to join our team on a contractual basis.

    The successful candidates will play a crucial role in supporting surgical procedures and ensuring the smooth functioning of the operating room.


    Key Responsibilities:

    • Assist in the preparation of the operating room by ensuring that it is sterile and equipped with necessary supplies and instruments.
    • Collaborate with surgical and medical staff to ensure a safe and efficient surgical environment.
    • Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and provide the required instruments and supplies during procedures.
    • Maintain a sterile field throughout the surgical procedure and take appropriate measures to prevent contamination.
    • Assist in the proper disposal of surgical waste and ensure compliance with infection control protocols.
    • Participate in count procedures to ensure all instruments and supplies are accounted for before and after surgery.
    • Adhere to established protocols and guidelines for surgical procedures.

    Work Schedule:

    • 3x12s variable shifts (specific details will be clarified during the interview process).

    Requirements:

    • Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification.
    • Previous experience in a surgical technologist role preferred.
    • Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and sterile techniques.
    • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
    • Ability to adapt to variable shifts as required.
