    **Responsibilities**

    Prepares food for the household meals and snacks that are healthy and appetizing.

    Serves food in a timely manner while maintaining high quality standards and portion control using standardized recipes.

    Maintains equipment and cooking areas to ensure safety and sanitation requirements are met.

    Keeps a clean and organized kitchen.

    Follows proper food safety standards and requirements.

    **Requirements**

    1+ year experience with meal preparation and specialized diets with ability to follow recipes

    Experience in a senior healthcare setting preferred

    High School Diploma or equivalent

    Certification in food handling preferred

    Serve Safe certification preferred
