    Job Description:
    Sanford Federal, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Chief Electric Engineer, Class 3, to join our team.

    In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the electrical systems and operations at our facilities, ensuring their efficient and safe functioning.

    Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining compliance with relevant regulations and standards while optimizing electrical infrastructure to support our operations.


    Responsibilities:

    Electrical System Oversight:

    Take the lead in managing and supervising the electrical systems across our facilities, including power distribution, lighting, and control systems.

    Ensure their proper functioning and adherence to safety standardsMaintenance and Repair:
    Develop and implement maintenance schedules for electrical equipment and systems to minimize downtime and ensure reliability.

    Coordinate repairs and troubleshoot electrical issues as they arise to promptly restore functionalityCompliance and Regulations:
    Stay abreast of relevant electrical codes, regulations, and industry standards to ensure compliance in all electrical operations. Implement necessary updates and modifications to meet regulatory requirements.


    Team Leadership:
    Provide guidance and leadership to electrical technicians and other personnel involved in electrical maintenance and operations. Foster a culture of safety, professionalism, and continuous improvement within the electrical team.


    Project Management:
    Oversee electrical projects from conception to completion, including planning, budgeting, resource allocation, and execution. Ensure projects are completed onetime, within budget, and to the required quality standards.


    Risk Management:
    Identify potential electrical hazards and risks within our facilities and develop strategies to mitigate them effectively.

    Implement safety protocols and procedures to minimize the likelihood of electrical accidents or failuresQualifications:
    Chief Electric Engineer, Class 3 License: Hold a valid Chief Electric Engineer, Class 3license or equivalent certification demonstrating expertise in electrical engineering and management

    Electrical Engineering Degree:
    Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field from an accredited institution. Advanced degrees or professional certifications are a plus.


    Experience:
    Proven experience in electrical engineering, maintenance, and operations, preferably in an industrial or commercial setting. Previous leadership or supervisory experience is highly desirable.


    Adaptability:
    Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively. Flexible and adaptable to changing circumstances and operational needs.


    Professionalism:
