Elementary Math Tutor

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Elementary Math Tutor to work with small groups of elementary school students on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. As a tutor, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of urban, working-class youth by providing personalized math instruction tailored to their needs.

The Job:


This position is ideal for individuals who are motivated to teach and learn, and possess strong communication skills. You will be responsible for leading small group math sessions within an elementary school setting. Each group consists of 1-4 students from 3rd-5th Grade who require additional support in fundamental math skills.


Bilingual Spanish proficiency is REQUIRED.
Tutors should be flexible and comfortable working in both push-in services (within the classroom) or pull-out services (outside of the classroom).


Job Details:

- Schedule: Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays - 8am through 2:20pm

- Start date: Promptly following selection process completion

- End date: June 12th, subject to renewal based on performance evaluation.
The salary range is $174.83-$192.31 per day; applicants encouraged to schedule interviews promptly.  Tõr details necessitate applicant ability confirm they meet minimum requirements listed below: 

• Possession of Bachelor's degree from accredited institution mandatory;
• Bilingual Spanish language fluency;
• Demonstrated teaching or tutoring experience within educational environment;
• Mastery over essential mathematical concepts pertinent elementary grade level education;
