    6:30 PM - 6:30 AM (12-hour shift, 3 nights a week: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday)

    Job Description
    The Night Shift CT Technologist performs Computerized Tomographic procedures according to hospital standards, applicable regulations, and time efficiency.

    The role demands comprehensive knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and CT-specific computer applications while adhering to Universal Precautions and Infection Control policies.

    Responsibilities

    Conduct Computerized Tomographic procedures within a maximum time frame of 45 minutes for routine cases.

    Ensure the presence and accuracy of required images in the Picture Archiving and Communication System.

    Interview patients to obtain relevant information and clinical history, providing necessary educational instructions for procedures.

    Participate in Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) efforts through documentation and data collection, addressing patient relations effectively.

    Engage in continuing education to maintain competencies in practices.

    Attend staff and department meetings as required.

    Perform additional duties as assigned.

    Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

    High School graduate or equivalent, with completion of a formal Radiologic Technology program from an AMA-approved school.


    Ability to meet the requirements for registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) and/or certification by the NJ State Board of Examiners.

    Minimum of 1 year experience as a Radiologic Technologist.

    Demonstrated competency in Computerized Tomography procedures and thorough understanding of radiation protection and cross-sectional anatomy.
