**Essential Duties and Responsibilities** (Other duties may be assigned)

Assist in preparation and cooking meals in compliance with the 6-week cycle menu and other applicable local, state, and federal standards

Assist in ensuring compliance with food preparation and applicable sanitation standards and state regulations

Assist in maintaining all food item receipts, menu production records and meal counts

Knowledge and ability to safely operate kitchen and food preparation equipment and tools

Assist with local food purchases

Assist in maintaining and ensuring adequate inventory of kitchen supplies, food and equipment

Ability to measure ingredients, follow recipes, and perform basic mathematical functions

Follow dietary guidelines and individualized meal plans

Assist with food delivery to classrooms

Maintain standards of confidentiality of CC Idaho clients and records

Perform all work duties and activities in accordance with CC Idaho policies, procedures, and safety practices

**Qualifications**

Required

+ Must obtain Food Handlers Card within 30 days of hire

+ Current driver's license and proof of auto insurance

+ Must pass physical examination and background checks, including state day care clearance

+ Must obtain clearance of Tuberculosis

+ Must obtain First Aid and CPR certification

Preferred

+ High School Diploma or GED

+ Ability to read, speak, and write in both English/Spanish in a business setting

+ One to three months with related experience or training

+ Basic computer skills
