Operate/maintain shop machinery (i.e. CNC, lathe, surface grinder, saws).Read blueprints/ assure quality to print.
Able to read/maintain measuring tools.
Troubleshoot/set-up secondary applications of parts to print.
Work to/hold tenths)Equipment Maintenance Performing routine maintenance on equipment and determining whenand what kind of maintenance is needed.
Equipment Selection Determining the kind of tools and equipment needed to do a job.
Installation Installing equipment, machines, wiring, or programs to meet specifications.
Operation Monitoring Watching gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure a machine isworking properly.
Operation and Control Controlling operations of equipment or systems.
Programming Writing computer programs for parts that require CNC operation.
Quality Control Analysis Conducting tests and inspections of products, services, or processes to evaluate quality or performance.
Designing jigs/fixtures in order to meet secondary applications for parts to print.
