    Description

    Job Title: Nursing Assistant


    Company: VANEOHS


    The VANEOHS is looking for dedicated individuals to join our team of health care staff. As a Nursing Assistant, you will have the opportunity to provide care to a diverse group of Veterans at different stages of life in the CT 6 Inpatient Psychiatry unit.


    Qualifications:


    Basic Requirements:


    • United States Citizenship
    • Education or Training in Nursing Assistant occupation
    • English Language Proficiency
    • Ability to meet experience requirements for different grade levels

    Grade Determinations:


    • GS-3: Basic requirements
    • GS-4: Specialized experience or relevant education
    • GS-5: Progressive experience or bachelor's degree

    Physical Requirements:


    • Visual acuity, keen hearing, manual dexterity
    • Ability to perform various physical tasks
    • Exposure to different patient conditions

    Duties:


    • Assisting in activities of daily living and patient care
    • Conducting unit rounds and safety checks
    • Monitoring patients and recording vital signs
    • Participating in care communication and safety protocols

    Work Schedule:


    Full time (1.0 FTEE) or Part time (0.5 FTEE)
