    Target Salary:
    $125k + 10% annual target bonus

    Position Summary:


    This is a project management role, dedicated to the implementation of operational excellence initiatives, such as site start-ups and closedowns, network wide IT, and transformational projects that span a broad spectrum of multifunctional aspects of the business.

    This role includes process improvement initiatives, network redesign and systems deployment in a distribution center environment.

    The role is accountable for the creation and maintenance of a critical path, completed with milestones, targets and identification of responsible parties.

    With the complete ownership of the tasks and assignments, delegating as needed to other subject matter experts.

    The Program Manager will ensure stakeholder and shareholder buy-in and facilitate regular communication to convey progress, inhibitors, or roadblocks to the successful completion of the project.

    Our ideal candidate is a seasoned program/project leading professional with experience in a distribution center or fulfilment center. PMP certified a must and AGILE a nice to have.

    The new hire will be mentored by senior leadership and will have the ability to work with every department within our company.

    The Ideal candidate will be an extension of the executive sponsor and needs to be able to navigate within a highly matrixed organization.

    This is a hybrid role and can be based either at our headquarters in Irvine, CA, or at our distribution center in Moore, SC.

    Responsibilities

    • Accountable for delivering new capabilities that drive business results on one or more medium to large sized, moderately to highly complex supply chain projects and/or programs from initialization through project close.
    • Effectively partners and influences in order to deliver scalable, optimized solutions.
    • Leads project and/or program activities following defined methodology and reports on status to ensure that assigned projects are completed on time, within approved budget, and provides desired business value.
    • Assigns and supervises multiple, concurrent tasks and properly assesses priorities of assigned activities and ensures integration of all dependent projects.
    • Responsible for timely and effective project communications including stakeholder and sponsor interactions, meeting management, and reporting.
    • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory agencies and company policies and procedures.
    • Manages project change control process with business sponsor ensuring any requested changes to scope are reviewed to assess impact on schedule, cost and resources.
    • Develops project or program strategies and enterprise level project plans and ensures that they align to the business strategy.
    • Accountable for project financials, including baselines, forecasting, reporting, and reconciliation.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.

    • Recommends solution approach to projects and/or programs.
    • Makes decisions and recommendations on policy changes, resource requirements, project schedules, solution options, and project budgets.

    • May be assigned to lead others and/or third parties.
    • Can operate in or with a matrixed environment.
    • Assigns and monitors tasks for project resources.
    • Responsible for managing and reporting on project team's performance.
    Skills/Knowledge

    • PMP and/or AGILE certification
    • Hoshin Kanri (Strategy Deployment)
    • Ability to work autonomously or collaboratively and apply problem solving, critical thinking skills
    • Very strong organizational, presentation, and business
    • MS Visio, Project, and Teams
    • Great leadership, effective communication, persuasion and negotiation skills
    • Excellent ability to multi-task and alter direction easily to accommodate changing priorities
    • Ability to handle large project and/or program workload
    • Ability to assess project health at defined stage gates and provide critical analysis to support the decision to proceed or not to proceed with the project
    • Outstanding ability to navigate between the art and science of project management
    • Excellent knowledge of system development life cycle methodology and project management techniques
    • Ability to use advanced Estimation techniques including PERT and CPM
    • Expertise with financial, retail, human resource, or logistics systems
    • Experience with MS office suite, MS Project, MS Visio
    Experience

    • Bachelor's degree in engineering, operations, business, or similar discipline with analytical bias
    • At least of 5 years of multiple supply chain service line experience (transportation, warehousing, distribution, fulfilment) strongly preferred
    • 10+ years relevant experience in program management and/or operations
    • 5+ years of experience with Excel
    • Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, and work at the specific location required.
    The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $82, $140,100.00 per year.
    The ranges above reflect the potential annual base pay across the U.S.

    for all roles; the applicable base pay range will depend on the candidate's primary work location, pay grade, and variable compensation plan.

    Individual base pay within each range depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills.

    Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time of hire.

    New hires starting base pay generally falls in the bottom half (between the minimum and midpoint) of a pay range.
