    Job Summary

    Job Description

    Provides technical support by diagnosing technical problems and identifying appropriate solutions through research.
    Manage user account creation process for new and existing LDH employees, including: Active Directory accounts, Exchange email accounts, Internal system access accounts
    Maintains all existing accounts listed above by making updates requested through ticket system.
    Manages the Learning Management System content, serving all of LDH.
    Assists in course development of special topics as defined by state officials.

    Assists in the development and implementation of training programs and provides follow up support and additional training as needed further training.

    Develops and maintains internal department documentation.
    Develops, produces, distributes, and updates training materials in the form of guides, videos, PowerPoint presentations, etc. to LDH and UNO contract employees.
    Adheres to and communicates policies, rules, and regulations relating to technology use.
    Researches educational resources for internal use.

    Plans, coordinates, schedules and presents training classes in person and via online meetings; may include travel to locations within Louisiana.

    Assists in setup and support at various workshops and conferences.
    Audits and updates LMS user account information and runs ad‐hoc reports as needed for LDH management.
    Other tasks as directed.


    QUALIFICATIONS

    REQUIRED:
    Bachelor's Degree, or Associates degree with 3 years of professional experience, or 6 years of professional experience in lieu of degree
    Excellent analytical skills, effective organizational and time management skills.
    Great attention to detail and follow up, and verbal/written communications skills.
    Ability to communicate technical concepts to technical and nontechnical audiences.

    DESIRED:
    Advanced degree.
    Minimum 1 year of professional experience with technical training or content development.
    Minimum 1 year of profession experience with public speaking or presentations.
    Minimum 1 year of professional experience with LDH information systems or programs utilized by the department.
    MOUS, ACE, MCT or other relevant industry certifications.
