Job Summary
This Medical Support Assistant (MSA) position is in the Diagnostic Service of the Gulf Coast Veterans Health Care System located in Mobile,Aabama.
The primary duties of the Medical Support Assistant may include but are not limited to:
- Works alongside a multidisciplinary team consisting of physicians,nurses health physicists nuclear medicine technologists and diagnostic radiologic technologists
- Uses knowledge of equipment capabilities staff availability patient preparation instructions
- Scheduling imaging appointments adjacent medical appointments within facility maximize patients time minimize travel reimbursement expenses
