- Coordinate with department and Production Supervisor to ensure all daily packaging production requirements and tasks in the department are assigned and timely completed.
- Lead the work team by example, reflecting Zero Harm behaviors.
- Responsible to ensure safety protocols are met and emission controls are observed
- Keep the work area clean and free from safety hazards.
- Works with management and team to coordinate overtime needs and coverage.
- Facilitate the team needs with Maintenance, Management, and HR as needed.
- Accurately maintains records and ensures that all required procedures are followed in order to comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Updates as required, tracking, downtime, and performing root causes to assist in driving continuous improvement.
- Lead the work team by example, reflecting Zero Harm behaviors.
- Train new & existing employees in production processes including promoting & enforcing safety & quality standards.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High School diploma or GED Required
- Demonstrated leadership and training skills preferred
- Ability to lift, push & pull up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to inspect materials & identify defects & potential safety concerns.
- Demonstrated ability to follow & enforce safety & quality protocols.
- Must be able to adhere to process protocol
- Able to clearly communicate, read and write
- Ability to follow job instructions and be aware of job responsibilities
- Ability to meet KPIs and willing to work overtime including occasional weekends.

The Operations Lead is responsible for all packing production activities. This position will provide supervision to a small team, monitor performance to ensure that company production targets are met, and is responsible for assisting the safe and efficient operation of their work area.
Key Responsibilities
This position starts at $21+ /hour, depending on experience.
