    Job Description

    The Chiropractic Front Desk/ Verification Specialist will be responsible for greeting patients, helping patients understand their insurance coverage for chiropractic services. The specialist will work closely with patients, healthcare providers, and billing company to ensure that claims are approved and payments are received in a timely manner. The position requires strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills.

    Responsibilities:

    • Communicate with insurance providers to obtain necessary information and documentation
    • Work with patients to collect necessary insurance information
    • Resolve any insurance-related issues, such as Prior Authorizations and Pre-Certifications
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of insurance verifications
    • Stay up-to-date with communication between our office and billing company
    • Collaborate with healthcare providers and administrative staff to ensure effective billing and reimbursement processes
    • Provide excellent customer service to patients and insurance providersQualifications:
    • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or related field preferred
    • At least 1 year of experience with insurance verification, preferably in healthcare setting
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, healthcare providers, and insurance providers
    • Excellent organizational and analytical skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
