Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and highly qualified Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The BCBA will develop, implement, and oversee behavioral intervention plans for individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder. This role involves conducting assessments, analyzing data, and collaborating with families and multidisciplinary teams to promote positive behavioral outcomes.
The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in applied behavior analysis (ABA), experience working with adult individuals with disabilities, and a commitment to patient care and ethical standards.
DutiesDesign and supervise individualized behavioral intervention programs based on comprehensive diagnostic evaluations.
Conduct patient assessments, including intake evaluations, progress monitoring, and functional behavior assessments.
Collect, analyze, and interpret data to inform treatment plans and measure progress effectively.
Provide direct behavioral therapy services to adults with autism and other developmental disabilities.
Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and healthcare professionals to ensure consistency in intervention strategies.
Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Educate families and staff on evidence-based strategies for managing behaviors and promoting skill development.
Ensure all interventions adhere to ethical guidelines set forth by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
Participate in ongoing training, professional development, and team meetings to stay current with best practices in behavioral health.
Skills
Extensive knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and techniques.
Experience working with adult, individuals with autism, and those with developmental or disabilities.
Strong skills in data collection, analysis, and documentation for behavioral interventions.
Familiarity with medical terminology, patient assessment procedures, and medical records management.
Ability to conduct diagnostic evaluations within a behavioral health context.
Excellent communication skills for working effectively with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
Knowledge of HIPAA compliance to ensure confidentiality of patient information.
Compassionate approach to patient care with patience for working with diverse populations.
Ability to develop individualized treatment plans that are evidence-based and goal-oriented.
