- Set up and perform the requirements of new or difficult product families with moderate to minimal assistance with the ability to provide direction to other machine operators on the shop floor.

- Be aware of upcoming part numbers to evaluate if problems could arise. Maintain a logbook of problems encountered during the production run and communicate these issues to Supervisor/Engineering/Programming.
- Train personnel in proper production standards and use of equipment.
- Ability to run multiple machines in a cell

- Be able to plan next setup(s) and ensure that the following are up-to-date and available: setup packet, programs, prints, charts, fixtures, tooling, etc.

- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years of experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role preferred, but willing to train

The job
Haarslev is seeking an experienced and reliable CNC Machinist Lead - to join our production team in Belleville, KS. Responsibilities include assistance in managing the setup, programming and operation of various tools and equipment to create, modify, or repair precision parts. During production, you must monitor the machinery and those of other technicians on the shop floor and conduct regular quality checks to ensure they are running properly and that the parts are being produced according to specifications. Candidate must oversee day to day operations and workflow, including the operation of CNC/Manual machines as needed. Accuracy is crucial to our production, so all candidates must have attention to detail and be extremely focused on their work.
You will report to the Shop Supervisor and be a part of the Operations team in North America.
