    Summary :

    The SAP Senior Functional Analyst is responsible for analyzing, designing, implementing, and maintaining SAP systems to meet organizational needs.

    This role requires extensive experience in SAP modules and the ability to understand business processes and translate them into SAP solutions.

    The Senior Functional Analyst will collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external partners to deliver high-quality SAP solutions that drive business efficiency and effectiveness.


    Responsibilities:


    Collaborate and Facilitate workshops, gather information on current business processes and prepare comprehensive documentation business requirements to formulate effective solutions.

    Analyze business requirements to identify opportunities for enhancing SAP systems that align with business objectives and industry best practices.
    Conduct Data Mapping exercises to ensure seamless integration of data between source/target environments and inter SAP modules.

    Perform Gap Analysis to identify discrepancies between current processes (As-Is) and desired outcomes (To-Be).Proactively identify issues and provide effective workarounds to ensure system functionality.

    Architect, design, and define financial system blueprints, aligning business processes with the SAP ecosystem.
    Stay updated on the latest SAP updates and financial regulations to enhance system functionality.
    Map client business requirements and processes, proposing necessary modifications to meet their needs.
    Design, customize, configure, and test FI/CO modules within SAP systems.
    Serve as a liaison with internal clients and vendors for troubleshooting, investigating, analyzing, and solving software problems.
    Document functional designs, test cases, and results for future reference.
    Proactively identify and propose business process and system enhancements.
    Provide consulting services for new implementations and existing support projects.
    Act as a bridge between business functions and technical teams to ensure smooth project execution.
    Offer ad-hoc training and user support as needed.
    Work independently and self-directed, potentially mentoring junior team members in subject matter expertise.
    Lead or participate in SAP implementation projects, including system configuration, testing, and deployment.
    Collaborate with technical teams to ensure seamless integration of SAP solutions with existing systems.

    Facilitate the implementation and support of SAP Financials (focus on FICO Controlling Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Product Costing, Profitability Analysis, Results Analysis, Unsettled Costs, Month End Close, Overhead assessment, and settlement.)Validate the system through rigorous testing, ensuring every cog in the financial wheel runs as intended.

    Provide ongoing support for SAP systems, including troubleshooting issues, resolving functional problems, and implementing enhancements.
    Perform system upgrades and patches as needed.
    Monitor system performance and optimize configurations for improved efficiency.
    Create and maintain documentation for SAP configurations, processes, and procedures.
    Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and successful project delivery.
    Build strong relationships with external partners and vendors to leverage their expertise and resources.

    Job Requirements Candidate should have experience with the following:

    Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.5+ years of experience in SAP implementation, configuration, and support, with a focus on SAP FICO and at least one of other SAP modules (e.g., SAP SD, SAP MM, SAP PP).

    Minimum of 3 years SAP experience supporting General Ledger and the following functions:

    Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Financial Accounting, controlling, Management Accounting, Fixed Asset Accounting, Inter-company Accounting, Project System, profitability analysis, taxing and other duties as assigned.

    Strong understanding of business processes and how they are implemented in SAP.Proficiency in SAP FICO configuration tools and methodologies.
    SAP Costing
    • Cost & Profit Center Accounting (CO-CC/PCA)Knowledge of SAP FICO/COPA (S4/HANA a huge plus) and key technologies that support these patterns.
    Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
    Project management experience is a plus.
