    Description


    We are looking to add an experienced and eager Lead Civil Engineer to our Land Development Team based out of Colorado Springs.

    Successful candidates will be responsible for the design and development of a variety of civil engineering and land planning projects in a wide range of markets.


    Responsibilities:
    Provide mentorship and training to junior staff members. QA/QC of submittals.
    Plan, organize, and direct activities of team members. Responsible for overall performance of the team.
    Participate in regular client interaction through face to face meetings, phone or video calls, and email correspondence. Coordinate with outside consultants and contractors.
    Research and collect site specific information and perform site investigative due diligence.
    Review local municipal, county, and federal ordinances and regulations.
    Design and draft land development concept plans for a variety of projects including commercial, residential, and industrial projects.
    Perform site design work including site layouts, grading, water and sanitary sewer utility design, and roadway design.
    Perform stormwater detention analysis and earth work analysis.
    Prepare permit applications and engineering reports.
    Complete quantity take-offs and construction cost estimates.


    Requirements:
    Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering field.
    4-8+ years of experience in Civil Engineering, preferably land development or water resources.
    PE licensed highly preferred but non-licensed candidates with commisserate experience may be considered.
    Knowledge of drafting site plans, grading, drainage and stormwater management, and erosion and sediment control highly preferred.
    Experience using AutoCAD Civil 3D required.
