    Our premiere Top 20 fastest growing CPA firm is seeking an outstanding professional with relevant experience for the position of Associate Partner Taxation in California or the NY/NJ metro area. A career within Tax services will provide you with the opportunity to help their clients meet their tax obligations while managing the impact of tax on their portfolio.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Manage a portfolio of clients of varying size and scope and act as the point of contact for these clients, primarily Corporations with cross-border structures (either US inbound or US outbound).
    • Timely final review and delivery of federal and state income tax compliances, including quarterly estimates.
    • Provide federal and international tax advisory services to corporates.
    • Assist with federal and state audits, including correspondence, compilation of data requests, and audit coordination.
    • Liaison with our India team/India-based subcontractor regularly for the execution of tax compliances/tax advisory services.
    • Manage risk and performance of engagements, including project budgets, resource planning, status, and financial metrics.
    • Participate in and contribute to marketing and business development activities of the firm.

    Qualifications & Experience:

    • 10+ years in public accounting firms combined with advanced academic qualifications; active CPA (current and valid license required).
    • Strong technical skill in federal, international, and multi-state taxation. Knowledge of internal tax aspects like GILTI, FDII, 163(j), etc., and related compliances like Form 5471, 5472, 8990, 8992, etc., is necessary.
    • Experience in federal and international tax advisory matters, such as tax-free reorganizations, tax due diligence, tax structuring advisory, withholding tax issues, etc.
    • Proficient knowledge of automated tax processing systems and Microsoft Office tools, including hands-on experience with advanced Excel features, Thomson Reuters GoSystems, and tax research applications.
    • Excellent supervisory, analytical, and leadership abilities.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex information.
    • Demonstrate problem-solving ability along with attention to detail and the coordination of multiple tasks simultaneously.
    • Show a flair for business development within the West Coast market.
