    Subject Matter Expert (SME)/Business Requirements Analyst

    Qualifications:

    • Masters or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
    • At least 5+ years of experience in design, development, and implementation of complex computer systems and web applications.
    • 3+ years of DevOps experience.
    • 3+ years of experience with Azure cloud and/or similar cloud environments.
    • Proven expertise in local area networks (LAN), Unisys/IBM Mainframe data environments, Linux, Oracle, and MS SQL.

    Duties:

    • Gather and define business requirements from HUD stakeholders, including government agencies, community organizations, and partners.
    • Analyze and document stakeholder needs to ensure alignment with HUD strategic goals and objectives.
    • Translate business requirements into clear specifications for project teams.
    • Prioritize business requirements while balancing resources and timelines.
    • Conduct interviews, workshops, and meetings with HUD leadership and end-users.
    • Facilitate discussions among stakeholders to resolve conflicting requirements.
    • Provide regular updates to key stakeholders on business requirement progress.
    • Work with technical teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
    • Evaluate potential solutions to ensure they meet business needs and regulatory requirements.
    • Facilitate gap analysis between current system functionality and desired capabilities.
    • Support the design and configuration of new systems or system modifications.
    • Provide ongoing support for implemented solutions.
    • Conduct post-implementation reviews to assess solution success.
