Job Title: Medical Director and Clinical Psychiatrist

Location: California Bay Area

Job Type: Part-time or Full-time Locum Tenens

Description:

We are seeking a part-time or full-time locum tenens psychiatrist medical director to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 28-40 hours of availability per week.

The position involves a combination of medical director/administrative duties and covering one of the units at the worksite location.

The average daily census is 82, covered by 3 total doctors, including the locum tenens psychiatrist.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide medical director/administrative services as needed
Cover one of the units at the worksite location
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care
Manage electronic health records using Avatar

Requirements:

Board Certification not required
Three month minimum assignments preferred
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
