    Job Description

    The Respiratory Therapist will provide comprehensive respiratory care in a hospital setting, primarily focusing on adult patients while also having the opportunity to work with pediatric patients.

    Responsibilities include administering breathing treatments, managing ventilators, performing ABG draws and EKGs, and assisting in intubations.

    Responsibilities

    Administer respiratory treatments and manage ventilator support for patients.

    Draw and run ABG samples and perform EKGs in inpatient and outpatient settings.

    Assist in intubation procedures as required.

    Work collaboratively within the respiratory therapy team and communicate effectively with medical staff.

    Ensure compliance with hospital policies and guidelines.

    Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

    Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) preferred; Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) via NBRC required.

    Current certifications:
    ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS, and STABLE.

    Experience in ER and ICU settings is required; pediatric experience is preferred, but willing to train.
